Yogi underwent rigorous classical education in the traditional gurukuls (schools) of India and has a Master’s Degree in both Sanskrit and Yoga. A scholar in the ancient classical texts, he is well versed in the history, philosophy, science and arts of ancient India. He completed both Tatva Yoga’s 200 Hr Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy Training from the International Institute of Yogic Science in India.

As befitting his name, Yogi loves to explore the science behind the ancient art of Yoga, the philosophy behind the different schools of yoga and the practical applications of hatha yoga to modern life. With his great knowledge of classical yoga texts and philosophy, Yogi is a faculty member of Tatva Yoga Teacher Training for the subjects of Sanskrit, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

Yogi’s forte is in the teaching of Yoga Therapy, the modification of yoga postures to relieve the bodily disordersthat are the symptoms of our sedentary lifestyles and modern diet.
